1. Transportista i seguiment

2. Shipping cost, VAT, and customs

The shipping cost is included in the price of the artwork, except for bronze pieces, where shipping is quoted separately due to their weight and special handling requirements.

The price includes my VAT as a professional. What is not included are any customs costs, taxes, or import duties that may be applied by the authorities in the destination country if the shipment crosses borders; in those cases, those amounts are the buyer’s responsibility.

The delivery timeline is agreed in writing before the commission is confirmed. Scheduling depends on current demand, the complexity of the project, and my artistic priorities. I prefer to be realistic from the start and give you an honest timeline before you commit.

3. Packaging

Each artwork is packaged with great care in a custom-made wooden box built specifically for shipping. The outside lid shows the title of the piece and its serial number, and on the inside you’ll find a unique QR code that lets you download the certificate of authenticity as a PDF.

The sculpture travels protected in bubble wrap inside this wooden box, which is then placed inside a second cardboard box designed to carry the shipping labels and “fragile” icons, etc. Everything is intended to minimize the risk of impact during transit as much as possible.

5. Issues, pickup, and closing the case

If a damaged piece needs to be returned, I prefer to organize it clearly to avoid delays or misunderstandings. I’ll tell you the method (pickup or return shipment) and the steps to re-pack it safely.

In general, to close an issue I need the damaged piece to be made available for pickup or return within a reasonable timeframe. If any difficulty comes up, we’ll talk it through—the goal is to resolve it calmly and in an orderly way.

6. Returns, cancellations, and purchase terms

Since these are author’s works made to order, cancellation terms and the returns framework depend on where the commission stands (before or after production begins).

To keep everything explained in one place and avoid duplication, those terms are detailed here: Terms and conditions of purchase.

7. Contact

If you have any questions about shipping, timelines, or issues, you can write to me through the website contact form. I’d rather talk it through with you, explain how I work, and find the best solution in each case.
